Everyone's Welcome

On Sundays at 10 AM we gather to celebrate the reality of God in our lives. In our Service you can expect contemporary worship songs (sometimes we "rock" a bit), an easy-to-understand message from the Bible, and an informal environment. There is no dress code or cover charge. Dress up or come comfortable. There's room for kids of all ages, with fun classes available. Explorers, Christ-followers and imperfect people are welcome!

First time? We're all guests at one time.

Here's what you can expect on a typical Sunday.

Around fifteen minutes before service, the parking lot starts to fill up and tea and coffee are available as people trickle in.

Come on in and find a seat; worship starts at 10:00 am.  Enjoy 20-30 minutes of singing worship songs to our Creator and Redeemer. Don't know the words? No problem. Lyrics will be up on the screen.

After worship is a short break and an opportunity to say hello to people around you. Kids and teens will head upstairs to class for the rest of service. Learn more about kids ministry and youth ministry.

Expect a 30 minute teaching with a biblical, practical emphasis. If you can't do it on Monday we don't talk about it on Sunday!

After the message, stick around for snacks and conversation. It's a great time to chat with with old friends   and meet new ones. Sometimes we have lunch training sessions or small group environments to help you grow in your faith journey.

How should we understand the incarnation? What part should feelings of wonder play in our worship & in our celebration this Christmas?

Worship

Worship actually describes all of our ministries and communities at the Lake Church. Yes, its about the music and appreciation of Jesus in our Sunday Service... and we'd love to have you contribute your singing, musical or praise gift.

It's also about living lives of worship and generosity 24/7 - on the job, in our neighborhoods, our relational world, our financial world and all the rest. We expect to be nudged by the Holy Spirit to live to advance Jesus' reputation and reign in every context.
